Tatsiana Khomich, a representative of the Coordinating Council on Political Prisoners, started her activism in May 2020 by joining the team of Viktar Babaryka – a candidate for the presidential election in Belarus – as a media official. She is also the sister of Maria Kalesnikava, a political prisoner. Since her sister Maria was incarcerated in September 2020, Tatsiana has become "her voice" as well as that of all political prisoners in Belarus. On a daily basis, she advocates to draw attention to the situation of political prisoners and human rights violations.
