Now a representative of the Coordinating Council of Political Prisoners, Tatsiana Khomich began her activism in May 2020 by joining the team of Viktar Babaryka - a presidential candidate in Belarus - as a media officer. She is also the sister of Maria Kalesnikava, a political prisoner. Since her sister Maria was imprisoned in September 2020, Tatsiana has become "her voice" and the voice of all political prisoners in Belarus. On a daily basis she advocates to draw attention to the situation of political prisoners and human rights violations.
