Tamar KINTSURASHVILI is a journalist, founder and executive director of the "Media Development Foundation" in Georgia, whose online platform helps counter hate speech and expose misinformation in the Russian media.Westerners and guarantees a space for defending the rights of women and LGBTQIA+ people against ultra-conservative rhetoric.

His expertise focuses on the analysis of hate speech, anti-Western propaganda and disinformation, including hateful content related to gender identity. His organization’s mission is to defend human rights and fundamental freedoms, while strengthening society’s resilience in the face of information influence campaigns at both national and international levels. Tamar and her team have faced harassment and intimidation campaigns due to their surveillance efforts, especially after the passage of the "foreign influences" law. In 2012, she was a member of the Georgian government commission responsible for monitoring the electoral process, as well as of the Security Council of Georgia. More broadly, she has become a prominent figure in her country by contributing to the development and implementation of human rights policies in Georgia.
