Nisreen Abdelrahman Elsaim has a degree in physics and renewable energy and is a technology transfer negotiator. In parallel, she is an activist with The Sudanese Environment Conservation Society, where she became co-convenor of the Youth and Environment Committee in 2015. As part of her commitment, she travels around Sudan and sees the extent of the impact of climate change and the country's vulnerability to this phenomenon, particularly in the context of the conflict in Darfur. In order to coordinate efforts in this area, she created the Youth and Environment-Suda (Yes) platform. As a representative of Sudanese youth at the United Nations Conference, she wrote a report on the Paris Agreement which was presented to the Government, which ratified the agreement a year later.
