Description

Originally from Gaza, she started out as an interpreter for journalists before becoming an English teacher and trainer for foreign and local non-profit organisations in Gaza. Since 2016, she has been a senior research assistant for the Middle East and North Africa division of Human Rights Watch. There, she documents, analyses and reports on human rights violations in the Gaza Strip, including those caused by the territory's landlocked nature.
