Description

Eman Homaid is a Yemeni woman and the founder and president of the Insaf Center for Rights and Development. She earned a master’s degree in political science and wrote her thesis on the political participation of minorities in Yemen. Since 2017, she has been actively advocating for the rights of religious and ethnic minorities and is a co-author of the book *Minorities in Yemen: Reality and Challenges*.She played a significant role in the release of six Baha’is in 2020 by drawing attention to their situation. She also advocates for Yemeni journalists, particularly those detained by the Houthis. Eman is also committed to preserving and promoting Yemeni heritage.
