Daysheelyn Anne Brillo is a professor and Filipino lawyer at the Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center or the Friends of the Earth Philippines. This organization works to promote and protect the human rights of indigenous peoples. Her work involves defending rural communities, training them to document and respond to human rights violations. It advocates corporate environmental responsibility at international level. To this end, she has published a legal study entitled "The Global Pursuit for Justice for DBCP-Exposed Banana Farmers". She also advocates reforms guaranteeing access to justice for victims of human rights violations and environmental disasters.
